Many thanks to the 87 members of the club who participated in the recent club survey. Many interesting observations were made, the majority of them very positive. Regarding the club's playing and training facilities 11% thought them excellent, 30% very good, 44% good and 15% fair. Obviously, there are a number of areas which require improvement and, subject to raising at least £50k of the current shortfall of £100k, the legacy project will get underway at the end of the season and as many of the required improvements as are financially feasible, put in place. Thanks to all of those club members who volunteer to give up so much of their valuable time, to ensure that our facilities are so well maintained. A lot of work has to be done every week before anyone sets foot on a pitch.
With respect to the bar and kitchen facilities, 8% of those responding thought them excellent, 24% very good, 41% good, 25% fair and 1% poor. So a big thank you to our kitchen and bar staff who provide those services, week in, week out.
Of the 87 people who responded, 46 stated that they were willing to become more involved in the running of the club. As the survey was undertaken on an anonymous basis we should be very grateful if those individuals could now come forward and contact David Green (07713 249450 - david.green@grl.org.uk) or Elicia Hodgson (07496 962584 - elicia@arrowregulatory.com). David and Elicia, who act as volunteer co-ordinators, will be delighted to hear from you and discuss what it is, you think you can help with.
There were numerous suggestions for areas of improvement and the main themes have been recorded in a short analysis document which will be sent out to all members via GMS. If you are having difficulty with receipt of GMS emails, please contact Chris Eggleshaw (chrisegg63@gmail.com) and a copy will be sent to you by return email.
