This November, Many Paviors players, coaches, members, sponsors and supporters took part in an internationally recognised fundraising movement called ‘MOVEMBER’. The aim of the movement is to raise money for a great cause by growing your best Moustache for the duration of the month.

The Movember foundation is close to the heart of the rugby community as it focuses on raising funds and the profile of mental health, suicide, prostate and testicular cancer in young men. So it’s something we took part in but were also able to connect with other rugby teams both in our league and across the world in something that has really taken off over the last decade.

The club also used it as an opportunity to raise money for our 2022 centenary fund, which aims to extend and improve our clubhouse facilities for future generations.

Thanks to all involved, with special thanks to Andy Carey and Steven Allen for raising half of the total from their own individual extra efforts! True Paviors clubmen.

On this note, if anybody has any fundraising ideas, large or small, it all helps and keeps taking us a step closer to our vision for 2022!
