Local Talent Set for Twickenham Showdown: Olivia from Paviors RFC to Represent Leicestershire in Gill Burns County Cup Final
Paviors RFC is immensely proud to announce that one of our own, Olivia, will be gracing the hallowed turf of Twickenham Stadium on June 22nd, 2025! She has been selected to represent Leicestershire in the prestigious Gill Burns County Cup Final.
Olivia's remarkable journey in rugby began right here at Paviors RFC in 2020, when our girls' section proudly reformed for the U16s. Her talent and dedication quickly shone through as she progressed, eventually taking on the roles of U18 & Girls Club Captain. She also distinguished herself by playing U18 NLD rugby, demonstrating her commitment and skill on a wider stage.
Her rugby career has continued to flourish at university. Olivia currently captains the De Montfort University team in Leicester and has since earned a well-deserved selection to play for Leicestershire Ladies Rugby. This latest achievement, representing her county at Twickenham, is a testament to her hard work, passion, and incredible progress in the sport.
Olivia is a shining example and a true inspiration to every member of our ever-growing girls' and women's section at Paviors RFC. Her dedication to the game, from her early days with us to reaching a national final, embodies the spirit and ambition we foster at our club.
