The Board of Paviors RFC wishes to advise the Club’s membership of the departure of Graham Turner. Graham has been an integral part of both Rugby and Sports Clubs over many decades contributing significantly to many aspects of the Club’s development.
After retiring from playing he had a period as Chairman of Selectors, followed by becoming a referee for the NLD on Saturdays and refereeing junior games for the club on Sundays; this he combined with being President of the Sports Club, Treasurer and Chairman of the Rugby Club for significant periods of time. He was instrumental, along with Len Graham, in building the bar & kitchen over the current ‘old’ changing rooms and its subsequent refurbishment some years later.
More recently and perhaps most notably, he has undertaken the role of project manager for the build of our new changing rooms. This project would not have been completed without his tireless input and expertise.
We are incredibly grateful for his dedication, hard work, and the substantial impact he has made during his time here.
