Buzzing Bentley Fundraiser rounds off a busy Sunday at Paviors!

Sunday afternoon saw the “Afternoon with John Bentley” 2022 Centenary Legacy fund raising event round of a very busy day up at Burntstump. The day began with the Mini’s hosting West Bridgford for a great morning’s Rugby on a somwhat chilly but sunny day.

A quick turnaround to get the Clubhouse ship shape ensued, with our President Bob wielding the broom in fine style to sweep the remnants of the mornings sport away from the foyer!

Bentos was on fine form and judging by the buzz around the Clubhouse, a good time was had by all. Fuelled by a Pie n Pea supper from our lovely ladies in the kitchen, our guests interacted brilliantly, warming up for the main event with a lively game of “Heads of Tails” which raised £300 in itself. Plenty of banter and laughter echoed aroound the room.

When the beans have all been counted the total figure raised will be published but in the meantime thanks go to everyone who purchased a ticket and to Malk Hall for organising the event.
